About Certified Vacuum
A VACUUM LIFE
Jay’s father worked for the Hoover Co as well as his Uncle and
brothers.The vacuum industry was the family business for over 45 years.
Jay joined the likes of his family at the age of 15 working for Hoover
Company selling vacuums at Lechmere Sales on Rte 30 Framingham. He
went on to graduate from Framingham North HS and Mass Bay Community
College.
During the early 80’s he continued to work for the Hoover Company Sales
and Service Center, Sherwood Plaza Natick. Later on he was responsible
for running the vacuum department at the iconic Spags Supply Rte 9
Shrewsbury where he was responsible for selling vacuums, repairing
vacuums and installing Central Vacuum Systems.
In 1992 he opened Certified Vacuum while continuing to work for the
Hoover Company and still running the Hoover at Spags Supply and
conducting the annual Hoover Service Clinics.
Certified Vacuum is a Family owned business and has been serving New
England and the Metrowest area for over 27 years. We are located in
Shrewsbury right off Rte 9.
We specialize in Sales, Service and Installation of Central Vacuums. Also,
we offer the sale of Domestic & Commercial Vacuums, Parts and Supplies
for brands such as Miele, Sebo, Electrolux and Shark. In addition to sales
we are able to repair most vacuum makes and models.
Our Goal is to maintain lifetime relationships with our customers by
providing quality service after the sale or service. We pride ourselves on
